25 ноя 1917 г. - The first elections to the Constituent assembly occur. The Bolsheviks, to their surprise, win less and a quarter of the vote. The Social Revolutionaries take the day. 15 December: The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk is signed. It finally brings peace to the Russia but means the loss of more than 60 million people, all of Ukraine, and the Baltic states. Most of Russia's industry disappears and the land it fought so hard to keep, is given away.
