"Obviously, we're here to film some scenes that take place in a prison" PUBLIC ENEMIES publicist David Fulton told reporters. Michael Mann is familiar with the location, having previously filmed part of his critically acclaimed 1980 film THIEF at Stateville. Some filming is also expected to occur at the closed Joliet Correctional Facility, on Collins Street in Joliet.
