Prince Andrey took over half the Russian and campaigned against the Volga Bulgars. He was a very pious man who spent many nights praying in front of icons in cathedrals. Arguably his greatest accomplishment was building a new capital in Vladimir which he was told to do in a vision from the mother of God.
