When the town of New Ulm heard of the attacks. Their men built a barricade. The Dakota attacked at about 3 pm, with about 100 soldiers. After 2 hours the Dakota break off the attack due a rain storm. When the governor Alexander Ramsey, heard of the attack he sent Henry Sibley to go after the Dakota. Sibley’s army is made of mostly untrained civilians.Добавлено на ленту времени:
