Isaac, son of Abraham, the son of Promise was used by the Most High to test Abraham to see if Abraham would sacrifice his only son through Sarah. This would also foreshadow the coming Mashiach, the only begotten Son of the Most High and His sacrifice.

During this time, the Most High revealed Himself to Abraham, Isaac and Yakov as El-Shaddai/the Almighty God.
