Dipankara announces his intentions to attain Buddhatta after the lecture, the vestments of the Dipankara fall dead. The new being is known as Bodhisatta Sumedha Saṅkamana. In attendance are over 2 million people, all vowing to follow Sumedha Saṅkamana.
