Germany attacks Belgium: (May 10- May 28): Called "the best American clash of the conflict" by Winston Churchill, the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes locale of Belgium was Adolf Hitler's last significant hostile in World War II against the Western Front. Hitler's point was to divided the Allies in their drive toward Germany. The German soldiers' inability to partition Britain, France and America with the Ardennes hostile made ready to triumph for the partners.
