A border conflict arose between the nations of Felnim and Amba Eest where an unknown soldier shot and killed an Amban civillian in Eill. Amba Eeset blamed a Felnim soldier who both killed an Amban civilian and also "invaded" the town of Eill without permission. Felnim said it was an Amban soldier and that Amba Eeset was forcing a false narrative to achieve a war that they could not win. Amba Eeset declared war 5 days after the event
