Buckingham's boats came back from the foreign policy war from 1627 on a three-month boat journey back supposedly Buckingham was in this boat but as it arrived on September 18t people soon found out that Buckingham died on the ship. on the morning of September 18th, 1628 Buckinghams was declared dead to the public. how we got assassinated was whilst he was saying farewell to one of his colonies that he was leaving to carry on fighting for the war he bowed to them as John Felton his own soldier leaned in and stab him right in the chest Felton came forwards in the end and said ‘I'm the man’ as Buckinghams body travelled through London streets on September the 18th to Westminster Abbey there were laughing and cheering crowds coming from the London citizens as they called for a celebration of Buckingham's death Charles would never forget this. At Felton's trial as he claimed that Buckingham was a cowardly paste and deserved not to be named a gentleman or a soldier has he made Poor orders and retreated whenever it got bad and that is why Felton decided to kill him. Felton would be hanged days later
