Following exiles in Prussia and France, George IV and his father, George III, still viewed as rightful king by most European monarchs, arrive in Paris to discuss counter-revolutionary action.
The French King oversees an empire exhausted by four wars since 1791. He refuses George IV's pleas for a direct intervention, sometimes called the "London Plan", as wherein George IV dreamed of marching back into London at the helm of a French Army Group.
Instead, France passes the region of Ohio, captured in the Great War of 1756, to George IV as a personal gift. Both the Americans and the British Republicans thus gain no claim to it, and George IV would arrive in his new small realm in the New World for the first time in 1817.
