The Marshall Plan was a program to help aid Western Europe after the end of World War 2. Overall, it provided $15 million to help rebuilding efforts. The idea for the Marshall Plan came from Secretary of State, George Marshall. It was named after him also. This program was signed by President Truman. The Marshall Plan has been marked as the beginning of the Cold War.
