1. The 1st Amendment: Freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition.
2. The 2nd Amendment: The right to bear arms.
3. The 3rd Amendment: No forced quartering of soldiers in private home.
4. The 4th Amendment: Protection from illegal searches and seizures
5. The 5th Amendment: Right to fair trial, can't be tried twice for the same crime, the right to remain silent.
6. The 6th Amendment: Criminal procedures, speedy trials, confront witnesses, have an attorney.
7. The 7th Amendment: Trial by jury in civil cases
8. No cruel or unusual punishments
9. The 9th Amendment: Rights retained by the people.
10. The 10th Amendment: Powers not delegated to the federal government are reserved to the states and the people.
