Emperor Zhu Di died of natural causes. His son succeeded him in the throne, his first major order being to call back all military campaigns and exploratory campaigns. Zheng He goes home and is named the military commander of Nanjing. However, the new emperor dies mysteriously shortly after Zheng He was named military commander. The successor of the Zhu Di’s son orders a new voyage to begin.
