Asgardian researchers discover the Space Stone - which they call the Bifrost - inside an ancient ruin, which they call the temple of Mímir. These ancient builders are of interest to the Asgardians, as the technology does not match the Shi'ar tech they knew of on Earth. They use the Stone to begin exploring the universe.
