Circa: Malar sends Kazgaroth to terrorize the Moonshae Isles for the first time. He summons formorians from Faerie to fight for him. A decades-long war erupts as the Llewyrr and the dwarves join with the children of the Earthmother to combat The Beast and his army.

Kazgaroth's formorian minions subjugate the firbolgs of the Isles, making them their slaves and forcing them to breed. Without their divine leader, Grond Peaksmasher, the forced breeding introduces formorian-like disfigurements and degeneration.
