A plague sent by the orcish Immortal Yagrai spreads into Glantri, and the Glantrians are convinced that the dwarves are responsible, resulting in a vicious war on the dwarfs by the people of Glantri. Lycanthropes seem peculiarly susceptible to the plague - few werecreatures survive.
