Miners of Conch discover the Cave of Lost Souls, a cavern full of gemstones. The Rengarth see the miners' extraction of these gems as theft from the gods themselves and launch several particularly vicious attacks until, two years later, the miners are all killed and their tunnels collapsed. New attempts to reopen the mine are all sabotaged.
