Tanthalas "Tanis" Half-Elven
Tanis Half-Elven was born in the year 247 AC, the son of Elansa Kanan and a human rogue, who raped her and killed her husband. Tanis's mother was the wife of Kathranan, the younger brother of the Speaker of the Suns. Solostaran raised Tanis with his children, but he was always an outcast as he was a half-elf. While still young, Tanis met Flint Fireforge, a hill dwarf residing in Qualinost as well. After leaving Qualinesti together, Tanis became one of the famed Heroes of the Lance, an honorary Solamnic Knight, husband of Laurana Kanan and father of Gilthas. Tanis was slain by the Knights of Takhisis, defending the High Clerist's Tower in 383 AC.
