Elves establish the village of Hoyden in the Hidden Forest to put aside squabbling between the home nations of its residents. It becomes a haven for weaponsmiths after some of the first silver weapons are forged here. Advances in weaponry continue to be made in Hoyden until the Shadowed Age of Netheril.
