Asgardian explorers, travelling the Bifrost, encounter the Dwarves of Nidavellir. Despite being technologically more advanced than the Asgardians, the Dwarves have no interest in the wider universe. Discovering that the Asgardian mountains contain a high volume of the metal Uru, they agree to provide Asgard with technology in exchange for privacy.
