In this month, a five-judge panel presided over the trial of Hitler and other putsch leaders. Hitler takes advantage of the judge's indulgence to go against the Weimar Republic. Hitler receives the lightest sentence of 5 years in a minimum security prison, but he only ends up serving 8 months.
