The dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima was done by the United States in hopss of an immediate surrender fromJapan. The U.S had given the citizens of Hiroshima what they believed was enough time to evacuate and take shelter before the bomb was dropped. Despite the environmental damage done to the city and the deathly/sickening effect on their citizens Japan would not throw in the white towel yet.
