28 май 1830 г. - Indian Removal Act
Описание:
Ever since Europeans began to immigrant to the Americas, they've experienced conflict with those native to the land. The mildest of actions taking against the Native Americans, or Indians (as Columbus believed he had sailed to India), were attempts at cultural assimilation. Passed in 1830, the Indian Removal Act was controversial with European Americans. The Act opened the doors to the Trail of Tears and other forced migrations and relocations of Native Americans. The Trail of Tears was large scale march of Native Americans out of their land in harsh conditions. Many didn't survive the trip.
