Anne Hutchinson was also a person who questioned the doctrines of the Puritans, just like Roger Williams she was also banished and was able to set up providence very close to Roger Williams that was named Portsmouth. Many of the same ideals that Roger Williams had were also present in this providence, but she believed in antinomianism which was essentially the idea that faith was needed for salvation. She later immigrated up North where she was killed and both provinces combined to make up Rhode Island.
