The last king of the Time of the Kings was King Tarquin the Proud, who was overthrown by the Roman noblemen. Then, the Romans set up a Republic where the people would choose their rulers. Meanwhile, King of Clusium sieged Rome and caused Rome to sign a treaty of support with Carthage.
