In December, the College of Humanities makes a presentation to President’s Leadership Council on new initiatives and associated funding requirements in the Center for Language Studies. This presentation draws the interest of Ira Fulton, a member of the council, and subsequent discussions lead to the creation of a $5 million endowment to fund many of the Center’s activities—including assessing the skill levels of returning missionaries, offering courses to improve and maintain those skills, and supporting study abroad activities for all students.Добавлено на ленту времени:
