18 май 1830 г. - Indian Removal Act
Описание:
In the early 1800s land was becoming scarce and white settlers started to want lands belonging to the Indians in the south. This led to the Indian Removal Act of 1830 which gave the government authority to negotiate with the Natives for their tribal land. Using this law, the United States began removing Native Americans from their homes in the southeast to Indian Territory which is now known as the state of Oklahoma.
