Lily recounts this day as one the most important ones in her life but unfortunately she was denied when she asked her mother-in-law if she could invite Snow Flower, Lady Lu wanted Lily to distance herself from her laotong. During the one month party, the Lu family placed the son's name on the wall with all his other family members, dyed red eggs were given to guests, and a grand banquet was held. Although Snow Flower wasn't there, she sent Lily an embroidered baby jacket and a hat decorate with small charms.
