(exact date unknown, year known) Lily's groom's family comes to take her to their household in Tongkou. Her arrival was met with grand welcoming with marching bands and firecrackers. There was also a massive feast held when she came to the Lu household but Lily was not allowed to eat for 10 days as tradition dictates. Lily did "bed business" with her husband that night, attended another feast at the Lu's ancestral temple on the second night, and read the third-day wedding books with the women of her husband's family and other women from Tongkou on the third night.
