Edward Arn, future 35th Governor of the state of Kansas, graduated Pre-Law with the KCKCJC class of 1927. Arn practiced law, served in the Navy during WWII at the Battle of Iwo Jima, was State Attorney General and an associate Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court, all before becoming Governor in 1950 through 1955.
