- The support for communism continued to increase in China throughout the entirety of World War II and corruption within the state during wartime gave the Communist party enough grounds to take over and change the government.

-This marked a switch in China's efforts and would gain a great deal of
support when it first came into power especially for their efforts to have a war with Japan.
