The 70th week of years started on Tuesday 27 September 29 CE when Jesus was exactly 30. This coincidence is not accidental because the New Testament gives Jesus a role of high priest (Heb 3:1, 7:26, 8:1) and this important character began to officiate as a priest only from 30 years old (Nb 4:3, 1Ch 23:3).
