Josh 18The remaining land west of Jordan was allocated via lot before Yahweh in Shiloh (v8, 10)
Once the land had been divided between the tribes and the Israelites no longer lived off the crops planted by the Canaanites and those provisions supplied by the tribes east of Jordan, they began their years of 'tillage'.
Hence from this year are reckoned the Sabbatic and Jubilee years.
i.e 1444 - 50 = 1394 BC, the first Jubilee year
