Emanuel Swedenborg (Sweden) proposed a hierarchical universe of larger components of matter than what Newton Proposed, hypothesizing these larger bodies of matter to continue to cluster, from solar systems, to galaxies, to superclusters and further. This would later contribute to independent theories developed by Thomas Wright and Immanuel Kant.
