Introduced by Cromemco, a microcomputer company, Cromemco Cyclops Camera was the first camera that can interface to a microcomputer. The three inventors who created this camera, Terry Walker, Harry Garland, and Roger Melen have made a group through Les Solomon, who is a technical editor of Popular Electronics, looking forward to the advantages of interfacing the Cyclops to the Altair (both microcomputer). It was a very small camera as it was a camera that interacts with microcomputer, with 25mm f2.8 D-mount lens, two bias lights to make the camera more sensitive in dar environments, and 1024 memory locations arrangein in a 32x32 array filled with all 1s.
