A rally titled "Name and Shame: Eliminate Political Remuneration" was held near at the Edinburgh Place, Central, to oppose recent reports that the Chief Executive, Carrie Lam, would offer public office to some pro-establishment figures who lost in the election as compensation. Organizers say 1,000 people attended the rally.
