(1648): Was signed as the treaty to end the Thirty Years' War, ultimately gave the owner of land the ability to choose what his "subjects" religion would be, a later version of the Peace of Augsburg in the Holy Roman Empire. It effected Europe by attempting to balance the religious power of the Holy Roman Empire.
