Patrick has been captured by the pelican hippies and has been taken to their tree, which also contains the secret ingredient, but then Sandy Cheeks appears. Spongebob and Sandy then make a plan to rescue Patrick. They don’t realize that Plankton has left to try and take the ingredient before they get there.
