The Barony of Normerais falls, its leader overcome by the soldiers he betrayed. Fel Du Magdent becomes a demonic and shadowy place, a ghost town constantly contained by rings of defenses. The country is divided amongst the lesser nobility and citizens, becoming the merchant republic it is today.
