The first diamonds in South Africa were discovered in Kimberley, 1867. Later, during 1886, gold was found on the Witwatersrand in the heart of the South African Republic (Transvaal). The mineral revolution in South Africa Impacted labor and capital increase in the country. This caused a mass migration towards South Africa which later, sparks racial conflicts in society.
