At around 8:15 a.m., officers were notified of a bank robbery in progress at First Texoma National Bank. Responding officers found the male suspect's vehicle, a white passenger car, and initiated a stop. While reportedly trying to arrest the man, officers shot and killed him. Details as to what precipitated the killing were withheld by police.
