Police responded to a report that Burnett displayed a weapon. The officers reportedly tried to arrest Burnett, and Burnett allegedly started to resist. Police used a Taser at least once during the struggle, but the device reportedly didn't appear to work. The officers then "controlled the suspect" using unspecified methods. Burnett died at the scene.
