A deputy was called to serve an order of protection against Ronald Stuart Chipman, who pointed a firearm at the deputy, and more police were called in. Chipman barricaded himself inside his residence. Chipman fired at officers from inside the residence. Lake Havasu City police officers shot and killed Chipman.
