Around 8:30 p.m., police responded to a report that a man had fired a firearm and was involved in an active domestic assault. Police spoke with the man, who remained inside, but within a short time period, the man, 37, exited the home with a firearm and began to shoot at police officers who shot and killed him. Officers Matthew Danko, John Cosme, Aliya Cutler, Jake Ellis, Robert Leiter, Peter Howard and Kyle Schlagel were placed on administrative leave.
