The war comes to an end with the sons of Kobo and Conelle who are excellent warriors like their father. Conelle cultivated in them a desire for revenge on the murder of their father.

Alongside their distant cousin Rauru, the boys manage to kill the Matriarch of the Ancient Ones and exterminate most of them, killing their father's murderers in the process.

Sadly the Interlopers, with the help of their dark magic, manages to get their hand on the Triforce killing the boys’ mother in the process. Before anything could be done, the Spirits of Light, at the behest of the Gods, put a stop to the Interloper menace and takes away their power.
