21 май 1812 г. - "Era of Good Feelings" first described
Описание:
This period's nickname suggests the years associated with the Monroe administration as they were marked by a spirit of nationalism, optimism, and goodwill. Post conflict involving the War of 1812 , end of the Napoleonic wars and the ratification of the Treaty of Ghent created a "sense" of peace within foreign affairs in relation to the U.S. The Democratic-Republican party dominated and the Federalist Party faded out. Also, due to the The Embargo of 1807-1809 and the War of 1812 it resulted in a stimulation of manufacturing and industry in the United States as a system of protective tariffs helped and so did the internal improvements for the nation. The actual period of "good feelings" lasted only from the Election of James Monroe as president in 1816 to the Panic of 1819.
