An event happened with a white woman and a black male. The man was arrested and then set free with no charges. There was a protection order for the man and there was a group of armed black men who wanted to help protect him and the white mob members thought this was a threat. So they went and got their guns. Shots were fired between the two groups, and last all through the night. Parts of the town was burned and there was possibly bombs used during the ordeal.
