Charles Darwin was a English Naturalist and Geologist. He Contributed five theories about the evolution of life. The theories he created were, evolution where species come and go through time and when they are around they change. Common Descent, that organisms are descended from one, or several ancestors and have diversified from this. He also contributed species multiply which is the diversification of life involves one species diverging until they become two separate species. Gradualism, which is when an evolutionary change occurs through incremental small changes within populations; new species are not created suddenly. Lastly, he contributed natural selection which is when an evolutionary change occurs through variation between individuals; some of these changes give an indivudal a better chance of survival.
