Master Of Puppets is the third album done by the band and it was released by Elektra Records. It was recorded at Sweet Silence Studios and was produced by Flemming Rasmussen. The album was the last one to include Cliff Burtion, the band's bassist since 1982, before being killed in a bus accident in Sweden. The record peaked at number 29 on Billboard 200, it was certified six times platinum by the RIAA in 2003 for shipping 6 million copies in the US., six times platinum by Music Canada and gold by the BPI. The members included are James Hetfield (Rythm Guitar and Vocals), Kirk Hammet (Lead Guitar), Lars Ulrich (Drums), Cliff Burton (Bass)
