There are three Cleopatra's Needles monuments around the world. They were made in Egypt, but then moved to different parts of the world. Two of them were made by Pharaoh Thutmose III, and they are located in London and New York City. The third, located in Paris, was made by Pharaoh Ramses III. They were created to honor the pharaohs' military triumphs.
